Whether for a party, a wedding or a holiday, my feeling for the event defines the design. The same is true if I am making something for a special gift. I have examples in my gallery; friends wearing Yew Tree Silver and every one fills me with pleasure. All of the pieces are unique, finished by a single artisan with a commitment to sustainability and creativity.

About Yew Tree Silver
I have been making jewellery for a little while now but I have loved many aspects of art and design all my life. I see beauty in everything; a curve here, an angle there, the way something flows. Using silver continues to be great fun. I love it in all its forms. I enjoy using silver sheet and wire, and clay too, which once fired in the kiln loses its binder and becomes 99.9% pure silver. All the silver I use is recycled.
Our Highlights
I am still learning and I suspect I always will be. Silver is a satisfying medium to work with. Some days it is loud hammering and I am banished to the shed, others its more delicate detail work. At the moment I am enjoying the warmth from the kiln!

A degree in DT many years ago mostly taught me to look around and really see. Silver can be so pliable that one can be inspired every day, even from great works of art in different mediums.

Recycled silver, single artisan.... that's perfect
These tumbling rings are so versitile; we all have days when our fingers feel a little swollen, or on cold days a ring can feel loose; just take one of the three bands are turn it over and then put it on again. You can keep doing that until a snug fit is achieved. Thats why there isn't only one sizing letter marked againt each ring when you click on it. Any ring you choose from the picture, that is the exact one you will receive in the post. In its own little hessian bag.
